Took the boat tour here and it was so good we did it again in the afternoon. Knowledgeable rangers talking about the wildlife and fauna that you see along the way including manatees, alligators, turtles and many different birds. Great way to spend an hour!

I celebrated my son's first birthday here and it was a wonderful place to do it. The scenery is beautiful and there is an amazing playground and swings and benches everywhere. They have an archway right at the top of the hill in front of the water to get really cute pictures there. It's a stunning place and well worth a visit with the kids or a place to celebrate birthdays or even a wedding with the beautiful and huge oaks and again the scenery is beautiful. The tide was out when I took these pictures but normally when it's up to covers those two bottom, big steps. The also allow people to fish for scallops but there is a type of license you need in order to do it. There are informational signs posted everywhere. Oh and the big pavilion does have electricity with the ability to turn on the lights of the building when it starts to get darker and plugs to use for blow up bounce houses or just charging your phone or use the back wall as a screen and plug in a projector and have a movie date there by the water with the family. This place offers you the freedom to get creative and it appeals to every age. Go check it out and have fun!
It's a nice little park with bathrooms and a playground. It seems to be well kept. There's a fishing and hand-launch dock (needs repair at the moment). You can still out in or take out a kayak or canoe along the shore line. This park is right on the Wakulla River.
Beautiful tranquil neighborhood park in the Village of St. Marks on the Wakulla River. Bathroom facilities, large covered picnic area, playground and fishing dock. If your lucky, you may see a gator, river otter, or manatee. Across the river is the beautiful and protected lands of the St. Marks Wildlife Refuge.

These folks are really helpful and knowledgeable on emergencies and disasters. If there's an emergency or disaster going on in the county these are the folks to listen to. They also coordinate the county's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). If you want to help out in the county before, during, or after a disaster, that's the team to be a part of!
Very polite and helpful team

We called at 5:15pm with are power line down from tree falling on it. they sent 2 guys out and had power back on within a hour .very impressed
They were out in force and pretty fast at getting the power back on , but on the same note they was not prepared for any big storms because there were allot of trees that needed to be taken down before the storm even got close to land in other words they needed to be doing a better job at maintaining the power lines right of ways
I recently dined at Taylor County Electric Co, and it was a wonderful experience! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great meal and a lovely dining experience!

Great place to see birds! The hike was nice, though we saw no wildlife on it. The boat ride was awesome! The ranger was funny and educational. We saw manatees, alligators and more birds than I want to list. The price for the boat ride was reasonable.
so if you want to do something a little different Florida's blessed to have some beautiful beautiful state parks, but I must say that Wakulla Springs is one of our favorites. There's so much to do here and such a beautiful place the trails are fantastic make sure you bring some bug spray and in the summer the humidity in heat can be a little hot, but in the fall and the winter the trails are fantastic also you may be able too but not recommended sneak off the trail just a little bit and maybe find an alligator or two. So if you're visiting Florida I want to do something a little different the forest is a great place to explore and the trails are fantastic and well-maintained.
Such an amazing place! Well worth the drive and the 40min boat tour! The historic lodge has such amazing detail to the tile work it truly takes you back in time. The movie filming history on location is cool as well, however the most unique part of this state park is its tranquility with the natural setting it is in. You will see alligators and you will see people swimming. You might even see them in the water at the same time! The rangers are quick to respond however to the alligators being in the swim area. But as soon as its closing time the alligators will take over the place, so i wouldn't recommend swimming after hours
