I have visited most of the springs in all of North Florida and this one is one of the absolute best. The water is crystal clear and clean for miles from the spring head and the forest and trees make it very beautiful. Put this one at the top of your list.

Relaxing float experience on Rainbow River. Bring a leash to connect your reusable water bottle to float. Also saw others had brought some cords to attach floats so you stay together throughout trip down river. I would do that the next time, we separated a few times. Used water protective case for phone. Saw lots of birds, turtles, damsel flies and butterflies along the way. Damsel flies like to land on you but do not hurt you. You will be exiting River at end on left after 2 hour float ( just past large silver structure that resembles a Christmas tree shape- see photos). There is an approximate 10 minute walk on boardwalk carrying tube after leaving water, that leads you back to parking area where you left your vehicle. We all purchased surf stickers at gift shop that we added to our vacation water bottles as a nice memory of the trip.

The tubing experience was good. They tell you it takes 1.5 to 2 hrs, but it took us over 3. It was a great view along the way. I do wish they had signs of how much more you have to go. I thought it was never going to end. Would I go again? Yes

Great place to go kayaking whether you go with a company or bring your own. It's only a mile and a half paddle up to the spring head and is very beautiful. Also very well maintained with great bathrooms. At seven dollars to use the ramp but worth every penny

Best place to launch your canoe or kayak. Paddle up the Rainbow to the spring then float back. Makes for a delightful 2 hour paddle. No shuttle needed! Safe place to park your vehicle. Has restrooms and picnic tables. There is a fee to launch. Currently $7.00 per person.

Still ome of my favorite places to kayak. I got there as soon as they opened and was told they couldnt rent any kayaks until the temp was at 40 or above. I had drove 2.5 hours so I to wait a little over 45 minutes, but ither than that....I was the only one on the water my entire trip up to the state park. Such a beautiful and peaceful place. I always pack a lunch and drive up to Rainbow Springs State park to picnic and swim! Highly recommend!

We had a great time and a very enjoyable experience. The weather was beautiful. It was something we had never done before. We certainly have never paddle on a river completely fed by springs. We’ve been in canoes in Africa, but never anything with a clear bottom that you could see underneath of you. We’ve already recommended you to people that are camping near us and gave them a sticker with the name on it we will always remember this. Thank you.

Absolutely love this tour! Have done this two hour kayak trip twice now. Very fun and relaxing. The river is gorgeous with clear water. The variety of animals makes for fun wildlife watching. Sam, our tour guide, was very kind and shared all kinds of facts about the area; it was a very smooth trip thanks to him. My favorite part is possibly when we park the kayaks and wade down a mostly shallow section of river. Super soft, clean white sand. Beautiful forest. Overall a great experience.

New to the area we didn't know who to call for our well & pump problem. So I went to the reviews to see who to contact. Did I do right in selecting North Fl Well Drilling. Eric came out late in the evening. Finding out it was our pump an not knowing where the well was he started digging following the electric cable. Around 11 that night he found the well. Eric came back next morning an replaced the pump an rusty old lines. I highly recommend them not only for there work knowledge but truly being honest an kind in there billing. Thank you so much for all you did.

I highly recommend these guys, they know what they’re doing and they work quickly. Very friendly, but also straight to the point and no nonsense. Lots of respect for them, don’t hesitate to call them.

We had a water tank rupture this past week leaving hundreds of gallons of water flooding the yard, we call on Friday afternoon and explained the situation by Monday morning the awesome crew which included Eric, Nate, and Josh were so polite and efficient came out and fixed everything literally in less than an hour,, They are very professional and patient with the elderly and did not try to upsell us on a bunch of things that were not necessary. I highly recommend this company and its associates and will use them for all of my future well and plumbing needs.
