Beautiful Scenic waterways beautiful landscaping plenty of parking places to launch a canoe or kayak or just stop Park load or just have a bite to eat.(must have your own sack lunch). Never any crowds or wait to load or unload your canoe or kayak, plenty of room to dock, relax and take a break. Unfortunately no public restrooms or freshwater. Also known as Halpatiokee Canoe & Kayak Launch Access, Evans Creek.

There are no walking trails or paths. You can walk down the sidewalk and look at it to your west. There is a short access service road that ends at the neighborhood that boarders it.

Went out early, before boats and jetskis arrived, so it was quiet. Saw lots of birds.

Savannas Preserve is my go-to place for hiking and reconnecting with nature. The trails are serene, and I love the view of the wetlands it’s a fantastic spot to kayak or bird-watch.

I spent a few hours exploring Savannas Preserve State Park. I hiked on 5 named trails and went as far as I could on each towards reaching the end unless water prevented me from continuing. The trails are well marked and clean. Very few people were around when I hiked on a Saturday morning. I heard, rather than saw, many birds. I did, however, watch a woodpecker at work from about 10 feet away. The Ranger at the park entrance was very helpful and knowledgeable about the conditions of the trails. The Education/Visitor’s Center was closed for renovations (and has been closed since 2021). With the Center closure, your restroom option is a porta-pottie. Savannas Preserve State Park entry fee is $3.

This is a meticulously managed trail network. During our visit, we encountered a well-informed and amicable park ranger at the canoe launch area. The park offers a distinct experience compared to the forested state parks found further north. My family had a delightful time here.

PSL Utilities was a lifesaver for me - literally the day before Thanksgiving, (with a house filled with guests), and my plumbing backed up. Customer Service was awesome and sent Brandon to save the day! He was out at my house within 2 hours and cleared the clog and was very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. Thank you so much! I started my search for a water filtration at Costco (very expensive) and had a few recommendations for Brevard Water Solutions from local plumbers. Once I contacted BWS, I appreciated being able to work directly with the owner of the company and his 20+ years of experience. And being somewhat technical, was interested in the chemistry and how they designed the three stage softening and filtration system. While our local community utility is pretty good, the water is very high in chlorine (off the scales) and hard. With a baseline in place, Eric and team installed the system - it tucks away in the corner of the garage and connects below ground to the main line. We also went for the reverse osmosis system in kitchen. Once the system was online we measured the water again and it was perfectly soft, with no chlorine and negligible dissolved solids. I gave this review a few weeks' and after a bunch of family and friend visits -- the water quality was appreciated by all. And all in, was about half the cost of other alternatives I had researched. I highly recommend Brevard Water Solutions.

Wow! We have to tell anyone seeking a water softener, filtration and or osmosis system that these guys @ Brevard Water Solutions, owner Eric and Anthony his lead technician, are your answer! My husband a retired California Commercial Plumbing Foreman was delighted by the seamless install and clean finished job! Pipes are level & plumb, system was ran with foresight meaning no extraneous needless joints or bends which could affect pressure etc, no visible dripping glue anywhere and all joints are sealed and tight! Honest, efficient and knowledgeable. Installed both a whole-house softener system and a kitchen RO system several years ago. Both work flawlessly and their prices for installation and maintenance are fair and reasonable. A professional company I unreservedly recommend.
