Started in this community with a villa, but later on realized we needed a bigger home to accommodate growing family and friends. After shopping around for a bigger home and evaluating over six communities (from Venice to Lakewood Ranch) we concluded that Hammock Preserve is the place where we want to be at to enjoy our family. The surrounding natural beauty, the easy access to great beaches, parks, medical care, shopping, the amenities, the residents and the quality of our home make us very happy.

BE AWARE ABOUT WORKING IN THIS COMMUNITY!!!!! This community is terrible to work in. The guard gate CALL BOX is ridiculous and has cost me so much LOST TIME AND MONEY on my paycheck. If I could sue them to get my time and pay back, I would. Essential workers don’t make enough money as it is, and I LOSE money by working in this community!!! The company that runs the gate is totally INCOMPETENT… and probably the cheapest. They have had at least 2 different companies through a CALL BOX probably from a different state or country all together. They take at least 5+ minutes for each visitor. Why not have a LIVE person at the gate?? That goes a LONG WAY. Your residents live in MILLION DOLLAR houses and can’t afford to pay for a live guard?? Ridiculous. BS. Often times it’s the RESIDENT who makes it more difficult because they have taken your open gate and you have to turn around and go through the gate callbox BS all over again. RUDE!!! Your residents know the gate doesn’t open for them until they get up to it, but if they see it open they go through anyway??!!! What the Hell???? If people in this community want people to work for them .. HAPPILY.. then do something about your gate problem!! This is ridiculous to start a work day out losing money and feeling INFURIATED!!!!!!! Can you imagine? I bet you can’t.

answers to tough issues and great consultants to back it up I used to be in construction myself, but don't do it much anymore. I hired Paradise Construction and they are able to answer any tough questions I had. The consultants here are highly skilled.

The crew came in and demolished the concrete steps and cleaned up afterwards. They did an excellent job!

We hired SK Cleaning to seal the grout lines at our newly purchased home. We highly recommend them for their efficiency, price and quality of service. After 3 days of residing here we cooked our first meal. Spaghetti and meatballs. As a partial ladle of sauce slipped out of my hands, I panicked, but the mess wiped right up and you can’t tell I spilled a drop! Highly recommend!

Steve did a great job on my restaurant floor cleanup. After they had left, I saw a missed corner (way under the dishwasher) that they hadn't cleaned (easy to do, as it was fairly inaccessible). I sent a picture to Steve and he responded immediately offering to clean it up first thing the next morning. I'm very happy with the results and the quick service response.
