I could post Melissa Stones comment verbatim and it would be accurate. They've been working on my Kitchen for OVER SIX MONTHS now. We went 4 months without a kitchen sink. Zero communication, never showed up on time and always had an excuse of why they couldn't bother to text, call or show up when they said they would. We had a mold issue and once the renovation 'was done' it looked far worse than it had earlier. No love or care was put into my kitchen, base boards weren't level, backsplash is crooked and bowed. Split my granite counter now it looks ugly. Broke my dishwasher so it wouldn't open and shut properly, now the front is scratched up from the damage. Found my kitchen pans and a knife in my back yard when I was going to mow. Tried to charge me for hardware they forgot to bring. Tried to charge me for a plumber they sent to fix my kitchen sink after they failed to seal it properly and water drips down underneath where there is an electrical outlet laying underneath the cabinet because they couldn't be bothered to mount it back into the wall. My sink is still leaking and now I've found mold growth back underneath. Will be reporting to BBB. 6 months of pure exhaustion, headaches and stress. Do not let these guys touch your house. pictures attached below... 1). Mold six months into my renovation growing under my sink 2). Counter top hoisted up on shivs without the decency to hide the fact that they didn't level the granite properly. 3 &4). Patchwork job on installing backsplash 5). Crooked tiling and entire space filled in with spackle 6). I don't even know what this is but believe it or not it's an improvement from how it was, once I had them come back and fix the tiling that was sticking out past it. 7). They broke the base board and told me the house was good and everything was done. Didn't have the decency to repair it before they left. Came back and fixed it with a nail gun. 8). Uneven boarding on the floor (fixed when I called them back) 9). Chipped ceiling, missing paint 10). Cover up job for the chipped ceiling and missing paint Update: House is finally complete over a year later.

I would not recommend this company. Our insurance company contracted with them to remediate black mold in our home and handle the subsequent remodel. Communication was poor. We had to constantly be calling to see when the next step would occur. People would show up at our house when we weren’t home because no one told us when they were coming. The work the contractors did for the remodel was horrible! The drywall repairman left a hole in the wall and a pipe exposed. They hired him to paint as well, even though he told us he doesn’t provide that service. Needless to say, the paint job was subpar and we needed to spend our time fixing it. The floor installation was also a mess. The baseboard was left visibly cut and they didn’t sit flush with the ground. We had to have them come back several times to fix their mistakes. It took over two months to do a job that was estimated to be 3-4 weeks. If you need a job done, I would go elsewhere

Our insurance company PTI called these nice folks in to clean up and dry out after a water leak flooded our home. We have only had phase one so far which is getting it dried out and cleaned up but We are impressed with the good communication and excellent equipment. Consumer beware. Get details in writing with the consideration of hiring this company out of Pensacola (owner Jake Petrovic). We were naive and got ripped off. We were told a quote based off the sq.ftg of our home. When they were finished ripping literally ripping sheetrock, removing much more than needed, not preparing our house professionally for the tear out like these companies are supposed to with covering belongings with plastic, etc. Lets just say when all said and done our house was DESTROYED much more than should have been, beautiful doors thrown out that most definitely been saved, they didn't tear out 2 bedrooms of walls (just ripped baseboard off ripping up walls), didn't remove kitchen, one wall in garage, main bath, master bath was destroyed removing the toilet for no reason, not covering up the sewer drain and now there is a ton of sheetrock debris in our pipes. They didn't even have a wet vac to clean up all the debris all over the place. What would you think? The bill would be quite less when all was done. Wrong. It was higher. When Jake was contacted about all this, he reduced the bill to where it was in the original quote of the whole house being done and we would have thought professionally. We had sheet rockers come to our house saying our tear out was definitely on the top list of worst seen especially when they measure the unusual heights of the cuts, all off measure with being able to cut a 8ft piece of sheetrock in half. Their cut measurements are all different heights and again making it very difficult for a sheet rocker to work with. We had someone from the city feel so bad about what we were charged for this mess, they brought us a Pinellas County Consumer complaint form to submit. There is a major amount of patch work, not just sheet rocking and blending in as should be which is costing us more than should have to finish closing up the walls. To top it off, we helped all weekend cleaning out debris, called the city to pick up the trash to which with the price they charged should have been hauled by them, bought them lunch and got backstabbed with a higher than expected bill. The amount of fans thrown all over the house was insane with thrown wires all over the place with major tripping hazards I had to clean up so we didn't trip over the total mess. 2 year young business with complaints and learning curves in progress. I lose sleep allowing this company to tear my house apart and feel sick just thinking about the experience we have been thru and providing a $8,000 deposit which they wanted. Just beware of the nice talk. It's all about the money and taking advantage of insurance.

We had Service Master come and check out our Air Ducts for any kind of contamination since our house is 20 years old. They put a camera in our ducts and found black mold growing. They provided a negative pressure cleaning of all air ducts in our house and then sanitized them by using natural oils to clean the ducts. Everything was done in a timely matter, nice neat, methodical and clean There was a light fragrance in the air which was gone the next day. They gave us detailed information on their process and willingly answered all of our questions before We had the air duct cleaning and sanitization done We even had them install a Blue light in our Air conditioning unit. They were very thorough and respectful. As a matter of fact several other homeowners in our neighborhood asked them for the same service so they gave us all a discount, because many of the homeowners took advantage of this awesome service. We Highly recommend this service and only Service Master of Pensacola. Thank you for a job well done!

Easy process and professional response to our water line break at our business. Had a crew on site in less than 90 minutes ready to work. Water damage is always more extensive than it looks and we only found minimal problems past what the estimate was. We discussed budget and they kept to it. It was a large flood and the damage was extensive right before the holiday. They worked around our business offices with minimal disruption. They took the time to explain when we had questions and discussed in detail the plan.

Martin and Joe did an awesome job at my house. They removed our flooring to access underneath to remove moisture that had leaked from my fridges water line. JD Restorations placed a blue tarp on part of my roof to avoid further water leaks/damage. They also ran a few fans throughout the house for a few days to dry affected areas. They were professional and I'm so thankful my insurance company was responsible for paying bill.

Absolutely terrible company! May 2021 they were contracted by my PA to replace the blue tarp on my roof with shrink wrap (Hurricane Sally Damage). The old blue tarp had been damaged in the months previous for multiple storms. They came out, went through the services they would be performing and had me sign an assignment. Only HALF of what was supposed to be wrapped was completed. Called my PA, he had them come back out. Instead of shrink wrapping the rest of it, they blue tarped it. Fine. At least it's covered. July 2021. A young kid driving a company van stops in asking me to sign an assignment. I state that I already have. He states they "lost it". I ask to speak to a manager. Kid states, the manager won't answer my call. A couple hours later I get a call from the manager, Raymond White. Why am I signing a new assignment? He states they had some computer problems and lost a bunch of assignments. The whole story is vague and sounds fishy but ok, fine. The other issues: my address isn't correct (they had an entirely unrelated address) and my name and contact information was grossly incorrect. (My name is not Joseph Ruthe). I also let him know I am not comfortable with signing BLANK assignment that does not state services listed or the cost. He tells me it's for the 2 times they came out to tarp my roof and the work they did inside my house. NO you did not do any work inside my house. I let Raymond know, if he'll send me an assignment with the correction information AND the assignment is complete with the services rendered and cost, I'll sign it, no problem. Next day, new person, same blank assignment. He tells me "we're just going to let you fill out your information yourself". Ok, where the services rendered and cost, it's still blank? Long story short, Raymond and I are back on the phone having the same conversation where he tells me the same thing, stating same as before! Once again, JD Restoration NEVER PERFORMED ANY WORK INSIDE MY HOUSE! We're back and forth for a couple of weeks . Finally, I get an invoice via email. $10,497.37 for 1550 sq ft of shrink wrap. Reminder; 1/3 isn't shrink wrap, it's blue tarp. July 13th, I provide all of my information again. July 21st. I text him no AOB yet. He resends it on July 27th. Same story. I speak to an attorney. I'm advised not to sign a blank AOB. I don't. August 10th, 2:16 p.m. 3 emails and a phone call. We need you to sign the AOB. will review it with my PA . If correct and complete, I'll sign it. Same story. 4:53 p.m. 2nd phone call. In a threatening manner I'm told if I refuse to sign the AOB now, they will come out and remove the shrink wrap. I warn they will be trespassing and the law will be called. Now it's threat and coercion. That's like handing someone blank check and telling them to write it for whatever they want. I reiterate, angry and firmly, what they need to provide to get their money. A correct and complete assignment with correct customer information and complete with services rendered and cost. As I have stated for this past month; I will not sign a blank assignment. I have already signed an assignment on the original visit that they cannot account for and they refuse to provide a complete assignment with services rendered and cost. I will not be threatened because they have failed or refuse to complete a very simple task and provide the reasonable information asked for by the customer. Threats and coercion are the way of JD Restoration to try to over charge the clients insurance company for services not provided. Once again, they DID NOT shrink wrap all of the area the roof they were supposed to or charging for, a large part of it is blue tarped. And JD Restoration NEVER performed any services in my home!
